As we reached the end of the 2008 “summer” (and I use that term very loosely) we planned to take Little Mo out for one last time, and dive two of my favourite wrecks around Anglesey – The Sigontium and the Kimya.

As we set off on the long hall to Lochaline, had it really been 8 months since we were last there? So many good places to dive and so little time! There was certainly a great deal of excitement between everybody on the journey, with many phone calls asking "where are you" and others repeatedly asking me "are we there yet…" We rolled into Lochaline around 4.30, just giving us enough time to prepare Little Mo for the adventures of the weekend, before checking into the dive centre and off to pub. |

As it’s now official we can tell the whole world.. Thanks to the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, Mid Lancs Sub Aqua Club will very soon be in a position to purchase a large quantity of scuba equipment to allow our existing and potential members achieve their dreams.
Very soon we will be one of the very few clubs in the north west region who can offer a comprehensive suite of scuba equipment (including a large range dry suits & under suits sizes) for our members, thus helping to take away the financial barriers for people wishing to take up scuba diving as a pass time.
Mid Lancs Sub Aqua Club would like to thank the Coalfields Regeneration Trust for their support with this project, and I would like to take this opportunity thank all the club members who helped to make the club the success that it is as we enter this new phase in our journey.
