Hi people

Following a few requests (and if im honest a personal interest) I have managed to secure a visit by a member of the North West Police Underwater Search and Marine Unit.

 Mr Phillip Brooks will be coming to the unity Club on our usual Thursday night (the 21st Jan 2010) to give a talk on the nature of work undertaken by the team and how they employ diving skills to assist others in their duties.

I will be adding more details to this later but this should be a very interesting visit to our club by a member of a very busy unit, obviously the more members that attend the better as Phillip has agreed time out of a hectic schedule to attend and give us an insight to the work his team.

We hope never to need the services of this team but knowing a bit about what they do might just make all the difference!
